(AP) -- Miami Hurricanes Ranked Top 10

Are the Canes Back???
Well, it's still games to played to determine that, but the Miami Hurricanes have taken a step by entering the Top 10.

The Hurricanes came into the season ranked 19th in the AP Preseason Poll. After Two weeks of play, the Canes catapulted to 12, then to now 10, respectively.

Georgia is the Top Dawg ranked #1 behind star QB Carson Beck (Jacksonville Mandarin). SEC newcomer Texas is at the 2nd spot, up one spot on Ohio State who dropped to #3. SEC teams Alabama, Ole Miss, Missouri, and Tennessee occupy 4-7 rankings, respectively. The Big Ten's Penn State and newcomer Oregon are 8 and 9.
