Clark Lea has delivered. Initially, with a stunning calculated win over Alabama, now with an AP Top 25 ranking, the Dores continue to etch a formidable, non-forgettable season.

Vandy is on a three-game winning streak after the historic win over then #1 Alabama, beating SEC opponent Kentucky 20-13, and now a MAC opponent, Ball State 24-14.

The Commodores are now 5-2, with wins over ACC member Virginia Tech, SWAC member Alcorn State, Alabama, Kentucky, and Ball State. Vandy suffered two heartbreaking losses: a 36-32 blemish loss to Georgia State, followed up by a 30-27 double OverTime loss to then #7 ranked Missouri.

The trodding doesn't get any easier for the Dores with a looming matchup vs SEC newcomer #5 Texas.
